Hypnotic post-punk aficionados Dendrons have returned with a phenomenal new track and video in the form of ‘High In The Circle K’. Musically, an intentionally monotone vocal juxtaposes some intricate, unique guitar work and funky grooves before jolting into a hypnotic outro. On the music video, the band explain: “The video for the song was crafted by Montreal-based artist and animator, Liam Hamilton, who uniquely blends bizarro computer-generated environments with shifting, hand-drawn, contortionist figures--all coming in and out of focus as the song progresses.” The Chicago-based five-piece have been gearing up to drop their second album, 5-3-8, for a while.
